Mike Linder was appointed Director of the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality in March of 1999.
Linder joined the Department of Environmental Quality in 1986 as a staff attorney. He was promoted to the post of Legal Counsel in 1989.
Born in York, Linder was raised in Brookings, S.D. He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1980 and received his law degree in 1983 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
